Another SumoSam branch in Davao City, the third in total has opened its door”The Legacy SumoSam” at 1st floor, Fountain Court of SM Lanang Premiere!

The opening of The Legacy SumoSam last October 7, 2012 was a meet and chat event with Marvin Agustin, who is the spokesperson, part owner and endorser of the restaurant. Agustin was accompanied by Mr. Raymund Magdaluyo, co-owner, and Mr. Carlo Lorenzana, Davao franchisee of SumoSam. And I was one lucky Davao Blogger to be invited for the event.
The Legacy Sumo Sam is an exclusive restaurant just for SM Premiere Malls in the country. What makes The Legacy different from other SumoSam restaurants in the Philippines is that 60% of the dishes in the menu are the same as that of SumoSam and the 40% are exclusively seen on The Legacy restaurants.
They also offers exclusive sushi that can only be have in all their Davao City branch. The Mt, Apo roll (Durian infused Sushi) a taste that is Davao, and the Crunchy Tuna Roll (with chicharon on top) which give it a unique crunchy taste.
A must try is their Dynamite roll, which is a bit spicy that can pass on to your palate. Their Pride Salad is also a must green salad topped with ripe mango bits, cherry tomato and walnut.
They also have Ebi (prawn) Tempura, Fish Tempura, and Crab Tempura and Chicken Teriyaki with sesame seeds.
That was some Japanese food experience courtesy of The Legacy SumoSam. Japanese at its best, not so expensively priced, just right for your budget.
